HUMANFOLK's gig at the 4th Philippine International Jazz Festival is on March 1st (Sunday), at the ROCKWELL TENT. They're playing around 4:30 in the afternoon (the festival gate opens at 9AM).
On the day, the featured foreign acts are Spyro Gyra, the young Japanese piano virtuoso, Hiromi (check her out in Youtube!) and her group, Sonic Bloom!, and the singer-keyboardist Laurence Elder. There will also be workshops conducted by Mike Stern, Hiromi and Dave Weckl.
HUMANFOLK are: Johnny Alegre, Cynthia Alexander, Malek Lopez; backed up by (electronica artist) Caliph8 and (kulintang player) Mlou Matute. They're also doing a dry run at SAGUIJO on Feb.26 (Thursday) at 10PM.
